Our foundation is Moorimdo, MRG's exclusive traditional martial arts system developed by Founder Yong Moon. Drawing from Shaolin Kung Fu, Baguazhang, Tang Lang Quan, Tang Soo Do, Karate, and Taekwondo, Moorimdo preserves the discipline and philosophy of traditional martial arts while preparing students for modern training.

Alongside this tradition, MRG offers comprehensive instruction in Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and youth martial arts. Unlike gyms where students simply attend classes, our structured curriculum and ranking systems provide a clear path for measurable growth at every level.

The MRG story began in 1968, when Yong Moon opened his first martial arts school in Busan, South Korea. After becoming widely recognized as Master Moon in New Orleans, he brought his vision to Los Angeles, where he established MRG MMA as a place where traditional values and modern martial arts come together under one roof.
